This is the current working text of this policy. Highlighted items in [brackets] are details still being confirmed (entity name, addresses, dates, and some day counts). The dated, final version will be posted here and archived when published; by using Sznmart you agree to be bound by the final version once published.
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to everyone β buyers, sellers, and visitors.
Plain-language summary. Don't break the law, don't cheat the auctions, don't fake reviews, don't sell things you're not allowed to sell, and don't attack the site. Breaking these rules can cost you your account, your credits, and your money.
1. General conduct
You may not use the Services to:
- violate any law, regulation, or third party's rights
- impersonate a person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with one
- harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or intimidate anyone, including sellers and support staff
- post content that is hateful, obscene, or that incites violence or discrimination against a protected group
- collect or store personal information about other users beyond what a transaction requires
- interfere with anyone else's use of the Services
2. Platform integrity
You may not:
- use bots, scrapers, spiders, crawlers, or any automated means to access, monitor, or copy the Services, except a public search engine obeying our robots.txt
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with rate limits, security features, access controls, CAPTCHAs, or geographic restrictions
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
- probe, scan, or test for vulnerabilities except under an authorized disclosure programme (see Β§9)
- introduce malware, or launch a denial-of-service or any other attack against our infrastructure
- create accounts by automated means, or maintain multiple accounts to evade limits, suspensions, or per-account restrictions
- resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Services to a third party
- frame, mirror, or scrape our content, listings, prices, or images for a competing service
- use our content to train a machine learning model without our written permission
3. Transaction integrity β the auction and offer lanes
These rules exist because the Bid Zone, Deal Zone, and Drop Zone can be gamed in ways a fixed-price catalogue cannot. We enforce them strictly.
3.1 Bid Zone
You may not:
- shill bid β bid on your own listing, or arrange for anyone else to bid on your listing, to raise the price or create the appearance of demand
- bid using more than one account, or coordinate bidding with others to suppress or inflate the price
- bid without the intention or ability to pay
- use software, scripts, macros, or automated tools to place bids
- exploit a technical fault, latency, or bug to gain a bidding advantage
- attempt to identify other bidders behind their pseudonymous handles
- contact another bidder to induce them to withdraw
- retract a bid other than through the retraction process, where one is offered
Consequences: bids may be voided, credits forfeited without restoration, the auction cancelled, the account suspended, and β for sellers β fees clawed back and the account closed.
3.2 Deal Zone (Name Your Price)
You may not:
- submit offers with no intention of completing the purchase
- use multiple accounts to exceed the per-product offer limit
- submit automated or bulk offers
- keep a saved card on file that you know will be declined
- submit an offer and then dispute the resulting charge
3.3 Drop Zone
You may not:
- use automated tools to monitor drop schedules and place orders faster than a human can
- exploit a pricing fault to obtain an item at a price that was obviously not intended
- coordinate to buy out limited stock for resale
We may cancel any order placed in breach of this section and refund it.
4. Reviews and ratings
You may not:
- post a review of an item you have not purchased and received
- offer, request, or accept anything of value β money, free product, discounts, credits, expedited shipping, refunds β in exchange for a review, or for a positive review, or for removing a negative one
- write a review of your own product, a competitor's product, or one you are commercially connected to, without conspicuously disclosing the connection
- write a review on behalf of someone else, or coordinate a group to post reviews
- use review content to threaten, harass, or extort a seller
- post reviews that contain personal information, contact details, or off-platform links
Sellers: you may not solicit reviews selectively from customers you expect to be positive, condition any remedy on a review being changed or withdrawn, or attempt to suppress a lawful negative review. These practices are prohibited by the FTC Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials as well as by this policy.
5. Prohibited and restricted items
The controlling list is the Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy at [/legal/prohibited-items], which is incorporated into these Terms and into this Policy by reference. It sets out:
- Category A β items absolutely prohibited, for which no approval is available and for which Sznmart acts without prior warning
- Category B β items permitted only with prior written approval, and the specific licensing, certification, and testing evidence each category requires
- Prohibited listing and marketing practices applicable regardless of the item
- Detection, enforcement, and appeal procedures
Sellers may not list, and buyers may not attempt to purchase, any item prohibited or restricted by that Policy.
That list is not exhaustive, and the absence of an item from it is not permission to list the item. Sznmart may prohibit or restrict any item at any time.
Approval by Sznmart is not a determination that a product is lawful, safe, correctly labelled, or properly certified. The seller remains solely responsible for compliance β including CPSC, FDA, FTC, FCC, EPA, DOT, state law, and any applicable foreign law. See Seller Agreement Article X.
6. Credits
You may not:
- buy, sell, trade, gift, or transfer credits, or attempt to
- create accounts, place orders, or return items in patterns designed to farm credits
- exploit a bug in the credits ledger
- use credits obtained through error, fraud, or a promotional abuse scheme
We may reverse, freeze, or cancel credits at any time where we reasonably believe they were obtained in breach of this section.
7. Fraud and financial abuse
You may not:
- use a stolen, unauthorized, or fraudulently obtained payment method
- structure transactions to launder funds
- file a chargeback for goods you received and kept
- claim non-delivery for goods you received
- return a substituted, used, or different item as if it were the original
- open new accounts to evade a suspension or a negative balance
- solicit off-platform payment to avoid fees or buyer protection
8. Communications
You may not use Sznmart messaging, reviews, or listings to:
- send unsolicited commercial messages
- direct buyers off-platform to complete a transaction
- distribute phishing links, malware, or fraudulent offers
- share contact details or payment links in a listing or review
- send bulk or automated messages
9. Security research
We welcome good-faith security research. If you follow [link to responsible disclosure policy / security.txt] β no data exfiltration, no service degradation, no access to other users' data, and private reporting to [SECURITY EMAIL] before disclosure β we will not pursue action against you under this policy or the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.
Without following that process, Β§2 applies in full.
10. Reporting violations
| What | Where |
|---|---|
| A listing | "Report this listing" on the product page |
| A review or message | "Report" on the item |
| Counterfeit or IP infringement | See the IP, DMCA & Counterfeit Policy |
| Suspected auction manipulation | [SUPPORT EMAIL], subject "Bid Zone Integrity" |
| A safety hazard | [SUPPORT EMAIL], subject "Product Safety" β urgent |
| Anything else | [SUPPORT EMAIL] |
Reports are reviewed by a human. We do not disclose the outcome of an investigation into another user's account.
11. Enforcement
Depending on severity, history, and risk, we may:
- remove or edit content
- remove or suspend a listing
- restrict a feature β for example, revoke Bid Zone access while keeping standard shopping
- void bids, cancel orders, or reverse transactions
- freeze, reverse, or cancel credits
- withhold or claw back seller payouts
- suspend the account
- terminate the account permanently and cancel all credits
- report to law enforcement or a regulator
- pursue legal remedies, including recovery of losses
We do not owe a warning before acting, though we usually give one for a first, non-serious violation. Where we act, we will tell you what rule was involved unless doing so would compromise an investigation, endanger someone, or breach a legal obligation.
Appeals: email [SUPPORT EMAIL] with the subject "Enforcement Appeal" within [30] days. A person not involved in the original decision will review it and respond within [10] business days.
12. Changes
We may update this policy at any time. Material changes are notified as set out in Terms of Service Β§ 24.2. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
