This is the current working text of this policy. Highlighted items in [brackets] are details still being confirmed (entity name, addresses, dates, and some day counts). The dated, final version will be posted here and archived when published; by using Sznmart you agree to be bound by the final version once published.
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and should be read with the Privacy Policy.
Plain-language summary. We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, count how people use the site, and β if you allow it β measure advertising. You can change your choices at any time in the cookie preference centre linked in our footer. Strictly necessary cookies can't be switched off, because the site doesn't work without them.
1. What we're talking about
"Cookies" here means cookies and similar technologies:
| Technology | What it is |
|---|---|
| Cookies | Small text files a site stores in your browser |
| Local and session storage | Larger browser-side storage, used for cart state and preferences |
| Pixels and web beacons | Tiny images or scripts that record that a page or email was opened |
| SDKs | Code inside our mobile experiences that performs similar functions |
| Device fingerprinting | Combining device and browser characteristics to recognise a device, used only for fraud detection |
First-party means set by sznmart.com. Third-party means set by another domain whose code runs on our pages.
2. Categories we use
2.1 Strictly necessary β always on
These cannot be disabled because the Services will not work without them.
| Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|
| Authentication and session management | Keeping you signed in |
| Shopping cart | Remembering what you added, and the price at which you added it |
| Security | CSRF protection, bot detection, rate limiting |
| Fraud prevention | Device recognition on checkout, offers, and bids |
| Load balancing | Routing you to a working server |
| Consent state | Remembering the choices you made in this banner |
Typical lifetime: session to [12] months.
2.2 Functional β optional
| Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|
| Preferences | Language, currency, season shop, dark mode |
| Recently viewed and wishlist | Continuity between visits |
| Support chat | Maintaining a conversation |
| Video and embedded content | Playback behaviour |
Typical lifetime: up to [12] months.
2.3 Analytics and performance β optional
| Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|
| Usage measurement | Which pages are used, which searches fail, where people drop out of checkout |
| Performance | Page load times, error rates |
| Experimentation | A/B tests on layout, ranking, and copy |
| Session replay | Where enabled, recording of interactions with sensitive fields masked |
Typical lifetime: up to [24] months.
2.4 Advertising and targeting β optional
Complete or delete this section based on your actual tag stack. If you do not run advertising tags, remove Β§2.4 and say so, and confirm the "no sale/share" statement in Privacy Policy Β§ 9 Option A.
| Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|
| Conversion measurement | Attributing a purchase to an ad you saw |
| Audience building | Building lists for retargeting |
| Retargeting | Showing you Sznmart ads on other sites |
| Frequency capping | Not showing you the same ad repeatedly |
In most US states, deploying these tags is treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out at any time β see Β§5.
Typical lifetime: up to [13] months.
3. Specific cookies
Populate this table from an actual cookie scan before publishing. Run a scanner across the site β including checkout, the Bid Zone, and the seller dashboard, which often carry tags the marketing pages don't β and list every cookie found. An out-of-date table is worse than a well-drafted category description.
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
[name] |
Sznmart | Strictly necessary | Session | Session |
[name] |

An always-current list is available in the cookie preference centre.
4. Legal basis and consent
Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent, because they are essential to a service you requested.
All other categories are set only after you consent, where consent is required in your jurisdiction. We block non-essential tags until you make a choice β a banner appearing while tags already fire is not consent, and we don't do that.
Where we operate on the basis of legitimate interests instead of consent, you may object under Privacy Policy Β§ 13.
We ask you to confirm your choices again at least every [12] months, and whenever we add a materially new purpose.
5. Your choices
5.1 Preference centre
Use the Cookie Preferences link in our footer to see every cookie in use and switch categories on or off. Changes take effect immediately for future page loads.
5.2 Do Not Sell or Share
If we run advertising tags (Β§2.4), the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer opts you out. This is separate from, and broader than, turning off cookies.
5.3 Global Privacy Control
We treat a GPC signal from your browser as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing for that browser, without you needing to do anything else.
5.4 Browser settings
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Doing so will break parts of the Services β you may be signed out repeatedly, lose your cart, or be unable to check out. Instructions: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge each publish them in their help centres.
5.5 Mobile
On iOS use Settings β Privacy & Security β Tracking. On Android use Settings β Privacy β Ads to reset or delete your advertising ID.
5.6 Industry opt-outs
The Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and Your Online Choices (youronlinechoices.eu, for Europe) offer cross-vendor opt-outs. These are cookie-based, so they don't survive clearing your cookies.
5.7 Email pixels
Marketing emails contain pixels that tell us whether the message was opened. Turning off image loading in your email client prevents this. Every marketing email also carries an unsubscribe link.
6. Third parties
Third-party cookies are controlled by the party that sets them, under their own privacy policies. Current categories of third parties:
- Payment and fraud: [PAYMENT PROCESSOR], [FRAUD / KYC VENDORS]
- Analytics: [ANALYTICS PROVIDER]
- Support: [SUPPORT VENDOR]
- Email and SMS: [MESSAGING PROVIDER]
- Advertising: [AD VENDORS], if deployed
- Content delivery and security: [CDN PROVIDER]
An always-current list, with links to each provider's policy, is in the preference centre.
7. Changes
We update this policy when we add, remove, or change how we use cookies. Material changes are notified through the banner, and we will ask for consent again where required.
